Our story
A collector-run Pokémon TCG shop built for people who care about condition, authenticity, and getting cards to the door in one piece.
Why we built this
TheNestTCG started the way a lot of TCG habits do — binders getting thicker, pull posts getting longer, and one too many online buys that looked nothing like the listing photos. We wanted a quieter shop: clear photos, honest condition language, and prices that do not need a decoder ring.
We are based in the United States and stock what we would buy ourselves — playable staples, modern chase hits, older set favorites, and graded slabs when the grade and eye appeal both check out. If a card would not survive our own binder standards, it does not make the catalog.
That means fewer mystery “LP” surprises, fewer stock photos that hide whitening, and a checkout flow that tells you what you are paying for before you pay. Whether you are filling a master set or hunting one moonlit Umbreon, the goal is the same: open the mailer and feel like the seller cared.

The kind of chase energy that built the vault — and the shop.
Three things we refuse to cut corners on — because they are the whole point of buying singles online.
Every single is checked under light before it goes live — corners, edges, surface, and centering — so the listing matches what lands in your hands.
Raw cards leave sleeved and boarded. Slabs get bubble wrap and a rigid mailer. High-value orders can require signature on delivery.
We ship from the United States with tracking on every order. Free domestic shipping kicks in when your cart hits $75.
The catalog is built around singles first. You will find Near Mint and Lightly Played raw cards, Moderately Played pieces when the price still makes sense for the playability, and graded slabs from PSA and BGS when the label and the card agree. We list set name, number, rarity, and condition up front so you are not hunting through a paragraph to learn the basics.
Modern sets sit next to older favorites — Scarlet & Violet chase cards, Evolving Skies vault picks, and the staples people actually need for decks or binders. Featured pulls and new arrivals rotate as stock comes in. If something sells out, we would rather show sold out than leave a stale “available” button hanging.
We do not dress bulk as premium. If a card is common filler, the price and the copy say so. If it is a Special Illustration Rare or a PSA 10, you will see that too — without buzzword fog.
Condition language is where a lot of shops lose trust. Ours is simple: NM means sharp corners and clean surfaces under normal viewing. LP allows light whitening or minor play. MP and below are priced as such. Graded cards stay in their sealed cases — we do not crack slabs to “re-check” a third-party grade.
Photos on the product page are of the card you are buying whenever possible. When stock moves quickly, we still describe flaws that matter. If something arrives and it is clearly not what was listed, our returns policy is there for a reason — we would rather fix it than argue about it.
Singles leave the nest sleeved, boarded, and tucked so corners do not take the hit for a courier’s bad day. Graded slabs get bubble-wrapped and boxed. Orders placed before 2pm on weekdays aim for same-day dispatch; weekend orders usually ship the next working day. You get tracking once the parcel is with the courier.
Free tracked US shipping applies on orders of $75 or more. International shipping may be available on request — contact us before you check out so we can confirm costs and timelines. Full details live on our shipping page.
Some sets deserve their own aisle. Evolving Skies still hits different — alternate arts, moonlit legends, and slabs that collectors actually talk about. The Evolving Skies Vault is our hand-curated corner of that energy: not every card from the set, just the ones that feel chase-worthy when you scroll.
It is the same standard as the rest of the shop — condition, photos, packing — just focused on a set that earned its own shelf.
